Paul Feig Chooses Form of His 'Ghostbusters' Villain in Neil Casey

July 7, 2015

A sign that the new Ghostbusters villain will probably be a bit jokier than an creepy, androgynous glam god or a scowling tyrant that emerges from a medieval painting, Deadline reports Paul Feig has hired on Neil Casey to play the villain in his update. Like most of the main cast, Casey is an improviser that has an SNL connection (he wrote for the series in the 2012-13 season before heading to Inside Amy Schumer) and a Feig connection (he stars in the Feig-created Yahoo series Other Space). He's also appeared on Veep, Broad City, and Kroll Show. Details of his villain aren't being revealed, but if we're talking some kind of new, evil Slimer, you could do a lot worse.
