FX and sister channel FXX are doubling up on some familiar faces and losing a perpetually-pained face for a while.

The networks today announced that they're picking up Cassius and Clay, a new, very familiar-looking animated series from Archer creator Adam Reed and former Community writer Megan Ganz. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's Kaitlin Olson will star alongside alongside Lake Bell and Susan Sarandon, the former two playing the title roles--a couple female, post-apocalyptic, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid types. It will air on FXX alongside Archer, which is shifting over there for its coming seventh season. Do you want ants? Because that's how you get ants! That Archer quote doesn't apply here, but people seem to like it, so I thought I'd give it a shot.

Anyway, there's also some bad news and good news for fans of Louie. On the bad side, Louis C.K. needs a break again and is taking an undetermined hiatus before making the sixth season of his show. But, on the plus side, FX is now giving his Louie friend and co-star Pamela Adlon her own show, and it sounds extremely Louie-esque. Adlon will reportedly play an actor raising three daughters on her own; C.K. is executive producing, and he co-wrote and directed the pilot episode. It's called Better Things. Tell the man that programs your DVR for you.
