Netflix Now Giving Employees Unlimited Maternity/Paternity Leave

Continuing the company's strong tradition of enabling people not to get any work done, Netflix has announced a new policy that gives employees the freedom "to take off as much time as they want during the first year after a child's birth or adoption." In an amazingly forward-thinking move, Netflix will reportedly give new parents the option to return part-time or full-time, or come in and out, as needed by their circumstances--the whole time being paid as usual, "eliminating the headache of switching to state or disability pay." The company's aim is "keeping the most talented individuals in their field," and to make it so that now every time Netflix goes down, we'll violently curse babies.
