As he showed with his new Joanna Newsom video, Paul Thomas Anderson has lately been less about carefully-crafted formal structure, more about just kind of following around musicians he knows with a camera. His latest work in the genre? Junun, a documentary that sees the director training his lens on Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood--Anderson's fantastic composer on his last three films. The documentary sees Greenwood travel to northwest India, to a 15th-century fort where he's recording a new album. Also, the film is apparently already done. It's reportedly set to premiere at this year's New York Film Festival. Watch it before planning your next record in India.
