Dungeons & Dragons is again making the jump from the pizza grease-smeared Dungeon Master screen to the big screen. Fifteen years since he produced and directed that really shitty Dungeons & Dragons that had Jeremy Irons and Marlon Wayans in it, Courtney Solomon and his Sweetpea Entertainment are reportedly in development on another feature-length, theatrical D&D film--this one in collaboration with Warner Bros. The news comes after a legal battle that saw Warner and Sweetpea face off against Hasbro for the treasure that is the right to brand a high-fantasy film with a dragon-based ampersand. Orphan, Red Riding Hood, and Walking Dead writer David Leslie Johnson is handling the script. He's just gonna need a case of Mountain Dew.
