Jon Hamm Joins Edgar Wright's 'Baby Driver'

October 21, 2015

Well, Edgar Wright may have walked away from directing Paul Rudd in Ant-Man, but it seems he'll yet work with an obvious highlight from Wet Hot American Summer. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Wright now has Jon Hamm attached to a villainous role in his next film, Baby Driver. Divergent's Ansel Elgort is already set to star as a near-mute getaway driver "who relies on the beat of his personal soundtrack to be the best in the game," but who somehow is not Ryan Gosling in Drive. Jamie Foxx is playing the evil crime lord who employs Elgort's driver, and it's said Hamm will join them as "a former Wall Street trader turned cop killer who is part of the gang of bank robbers." Weird, because... I thought Wall Street guys already WERE a gang of robbers! That's right. Think about it.
