Netflix Picks Up Jason Momoa 18th-Century Fur-Trading Series

November 16, 2015

It's everyone's biggest complaint about Netflix: thousands of options, yet somehow there's never anything you want to watch that is also about 18th-century fur trappers. Well, the streaming service has finally heard us and done something about it, reportedly picking up six episodes of the action-adventure-drama Frontier.

Said to be told from multiple perspectives, the series focuses on the violent fur trade of late 18th-century North America. Game of Thrones' Jason Momoa is attached to star as Declan Harp, said to be "an ambitious, confident, charismatic and untamed man with a reputation for being a ruthless trader, driven by lust and revenge." But really, who doesn't get lustful when it comes to skinning animals for their hot, silken pelts? Prepare to feel some of that erotic man-on-mink action yourself when the series premieres next year.
