Christopher Nolan Might Be Making a WWII Movie

December 28, 2015

Looks like Christopher Nolan is going to incept us with a little WWII history. As reported by French paper La Voix du Norde (via), the self-serious director will next tackle the historically serious with a film about the famed Miracle of Dunkirk--the World War II event that saw over 300,000 surrounded Allied soldiers evacuated in an impromptu rescue operation. It's said Nolan will be shooting next summer with an eye on a 2017 release. Michael Caine better start practicing his Winston Churchill.
