Fox has found their star for 24: Legacy, the network's reboot of that show about digital clocks. Variety reports that Fox has given the lead role in the pilot to Corey Hawkins, star of Straight Outta Compton and recent addition to The Walking Dead. Hawkins will play Eric Carter, a guy who grew up in a rough neighborhood but turned his life around as an Army Ranger. "Now back home in Virginia with his wife Nicole (yet to be cast), he's pulled back into action as his past comes looking for him." Original 24 star Kiefer Sutherland is not expected to return, and classic, bullshit 24 fashion, neither are pooping scenes. Once again, we'll spend another complete 24-hour day with a guy who somehow never takes a quick 15 to ponder the case in the CTU shitter.
