'Spider-Man' Moved Up on Calendar, 'Terminator' Sequel Removed Altogether

January 21, 2016

Mankind has yet again fought off the mechanized menace that keeps automatically producing a dumb Terminator sequel every six years. According to THR, Paramount may finally be done slapping even more layer of looser flesh atop that old metal skeleton, as the stuio has now officially removed the Terminator Genisys sequel from their schedule. The Baywatch movie will now be taking over the May 19, 2017 spot previously reserved for T2: Gudgmynt Day.

Also in film schedule shuffling: Star Wars: Episode VIII's shift to December has moved Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales up to May 26, and with Johnny Depp: Pirate's former July 7 spot now open, Sony has slid Spider-Man up three weeks to there. Spider-Man internet criticism remains dated for just as soon as an image of the character leaks from Captain America: Civil War.
