'Batman v Superman' Confirmed To Be Fairly Lengthy

February 22, 2016

It's official: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice the film is not quite as painfully long as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice the title. AMC Theatres has revealed the new superhero film's runtime, posting that it will run just over two-and-a-half hours at 151 minutes. By comparison, Man of Steel ran 143 minutes, while The Dark Knight Rises stretched out to 165 minutes. So--considering that this film has the task of introducing Batman, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor, Doomsday, and, to some unknown lesser extent, several other Justice League heroes--not as dreadfully lengthy as you might have thought. Aquaman must just cruise through the background on a jet ski.
