Jason Bateman Gets Netflix Series That Isn't 'Arrested Development'

February 25, 2016

Jason Bateman is heading back to Netflix, but now he'll be doing his money laundering outside the walls of the banana stand. The Arrested Development star and Media Rights Capital are reportedly near closing a deal with Netflix for Ozark, a series that has Bateman attached to direct, executive produce, and star. He'd play a family man who moves to the Lake of the Ozarks to repay a money laundering debt he owes to an unforgiving drug lord. Breaking Bad: Missouri is expected begin production this spring.
