'90s Boy Bands Now Adults Fighting Zombies in 'Dead 7' Trailer

Fleetingly relevant, insistently manufactured, and already guaranteed to age poorly, boy bands of the '90s have long been in the same league as the likes of Sharknado and Ghost Shark. Now, though, they've taken their biggest, most woeful step yet toward insane, shark-based TV movies: they're starring in a Syfy original.

Syfy's Dead 7, like Lance Bass's unrealized spaceflight plan, tells of a terrible future that gives undue focus to members of ☆NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees, and O-Town. Nick Carter, Joey Fatone, and other faded former boy banders star in the post-apocalyptic zombie Western, which premieres the first of next month. Though, since that's April Fools' Day, maybe there's still a chance this is all just promotion for a county fair performance? Either way, if you're intrigued enough, you'll have to head to Buzzfeed for the trailer.
