J.K. Simmons To Play Commissioner Gordon in 'Justice League'

March 7, 2016

Though he's already played one mustached comic book character to absolute perfection, J.K. Simmons is going to try and make it a double. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor will play Gotham City's Commissioner Jim Gordon in Justice League, Zack Snyder's 2017 follow-up to Batman v Superman. Sadly, this almost certainly means Simmons won't be able to reprise his spot-on J. Jonah Jameson in the latest Spider-Man reboot, but hey, maybe just get Gary Oldman for that now?
