See Tim Burton's X-Men with 'Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children' Trailer

Based on the bestselling book of the same name, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children combines Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, vintage Tim Burton Gothic-Victorian aesthetics, and that stench of a teenager embracing their uniqueness that lets you know you're watching a young-adult adaptation. Hugo's Asa Butterfield stars as a newcomer to a remote orphanage where all the kids have special powers and also look like they're straight out of creepy old photos. (The book was originally meant to be just a picture book showcasing author Ransom Riggs' antique photographs, so that's accurate.) Dark Shadows' Eva Green, Burton's latest beautifully severe container for a set of pronounced eyes, co-stars as the titular Miss Peregrine. Also, there's a freak that looks like Tim Burton designed a Dark Souls boss, so that's pretty good. Here's the trailer:
