Always looking to increase the animal protein in his diet, Dwayne Johnson has signed on to Jumanji. As announced on the actor's increasingly scoop-filled Instagram, Johnson will produce and presumably star in the remake that he and Kevin Hart were rumored to be in talks for earlier this month. The film, which involves a magical board game that summons jungle animals, is being directed by Sex Tape's Jake Kasdan, and Johnson says they're "edging up an already very good script" for a fall production start.

With Johnson already attached to star in Disney's Jungle Cruise as well as a Rampage video game adaptation, exotic beasts, be on caution: The Rock is going to destroy you, and he is going to eat you, and then you will be his hat and pectorals.
