In 1990, following the success of 1989's Uncle Buck at the box office, CBS attempted a sitcom version of Uncle Buck with Kevin Meaney in the title role. Critics hated it, audiences were disinterested, and the series was pulled off the air before even the end of its first season.
But those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat its failed adaptations of John Hughes family comedies, and as such, ABC has now made their own Uncle Buck sitcom. This one sees Mike Epps as the titular lovable lout turned nanny, and now he lives in the bathtub or something. Have a look:
