Truer to author R.L. Stine's model than anything in their Goosebumps movie, Sony is going to churn out some more of these Goosebumps things. According to THR, the studio is moving forward with a sequel to their 2015 film, which earned decent enough box office and reviews to make this just worthwhile enough. Original director Rob Letterman and writer Darren Lemke have already signed on to return, and while the "goal" is to have star Jack Black return, he's not yet signed. What a classic, Goosebumps-style setup to the twist that they'll just end up getting Brendan Fraser if they have to.
