'Mirror's Edge' Video Game Will Be a TV Series Now

We won't find out how that Assassin's Creed movie works out until December, but already we've got another parkour-heavy video game heading to screens, for better or worse. Deadline reports that Endemol Shine Studios have started development on a TV adaptation of Mirror's Edge, a 2008 game about a "Runner" named Faith leaping around a dystopian future hand-delivering secret messages. While the video game is known for its distinctly colorless, largely white aesthetic, it's not yet clear whether Hollywood will be taking their usual ill-advised steps to make this version just a little bit whiter.
