With Muhammad Ali passing away last week at the age of 74, Sony will celebrate the man's life by taking us back to a time when the champ was still alive, and Will Smith was nominated for an Oscar. The studio today announce that 2001's Ali is headed back to a few hundred theaters across the country for a limited re-release. Further details are not yet available. Unless you count the detail that Jon Voight was also nominated for an Academy Award for the film. Forgot about that, didn't you? It's because, three years later, he was already doing Karate Dog and Baby Geniuses 2: Superbabies. What happened there, huh?
