Having professed his geek-love with his Sundance breakout Dope, director Rick Famuyiwa has now been tasked with some next-level nerdery: making a superhero movie. According to Deadline, he'll direct The Flash, Warner's planned Justice League follow-up that will focus on the world's most impressive jogger. Famuyiwa takes over for novelty novelist Seth Grahame-Smith, who was set to make his directorial debut on the project but left it a month ago over creative differences. We Need To Talk About Kevin star Ezra Miller remains attached to reprise the title role he originated in Batman v Superman: that guy in the helmet who burst out of some sort of light portal(?) in a dream(?) and gave Batman a warning that made absolutely no sense at the time but will assumedly be clarified in the next year or two.
