'Battlefield' Video Game To Become TV Series You'll Somehow Still Be Bad At

Battlefield, the video game series that lets players wage war against slur-spouting 12-year-olds across multiple eras, is headed to television. Paramount Television and Anonymous Content have announced a deal with EA's DICE for the TV rights to the property, setting recent Oscar-winner Michael Sugar (Spotlight) and Ashley Zalta to produce a series adaptation. There's not yet an indication of what direction they're headed, or which of the many Battlefield games will be adapted, but assumedly it will be something like Band of Brothers, only now with more shouted accusations about your mother.
