Clara Bow Biopic To Let Us Again Lust After '20s Sex Symbol

Get ready to finally feel the white hot lust of your forefathers, because the biggest sex symbol of Hollywood's silent era is getting a biopic. In news certain to be regarded as the bee's knees, Variety reports that Silver Bullet Entertainment has acquired movie rights to David Stenn's biography Clara Bow: Runnin' Wild and plan to develop it in to a movie about the '20s starlet.

Bow, who appeared in 46 silent films and 11 of those new-fangled talkies, was most famously the original "It Girl"--so named for her star-making appearance as a spunky shopgirl in 1927's It. Nicknames were really literal at the time.
